The beach is a few steps away, though sargassum can build up on it in some seasons. In those periods guests can use the large pool on the jungle side, subject to availability. The beachfront restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. NÜ Tulum is across the road on the jungle side and serves dinner, so check its opening days when you book.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 noon. Early arrival and late check-out can be requested and depend on availability. Guests must be 18 or older to check in, with a government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for the booking.
How do I get to La Valise Tulum from the airport?
The hotel is at Km 8.7 of the Tulum-Boca Paila road. From Cancún airport it is about 90 minutes by car via Highway 307. The concierge can arrange private transfers, which the hotel recommends booking ahead if you are not renting a car.
When is the best time to stay?
Late November through April brings dry, clear weather and the least sargassum, with February and March often cited as the best months. Sargassum season generally runs from around April or May through October. Hurricane season runs June to November, with the highest risk from August to October. September and October are the quietest and best-value months.
