Where do I eat, and how far is it from the room?
The beachfront restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with Mexican and Mayan-influenced dishes, and the poolside bar is good for sunset drinks. Dinner is also served at NÜ Tulum, the hotel's Michelin-recognised restaurant across the road on the jungle side. It is closed on Tuesdays, so ask the concierge to reserve a table.
What should I know about the beach and sargassum?
The beach is right at your doorstep, but like much of the Riviera Maya it can see occasional sargassum, typically from around April or May through October. When it builds up, the hotel invites guests to use the large pool on the jungle side, subject to availability. February and March are widely cited as among the best months for dry weather and clear water.
What are check-in and check-out times, and how do I get to the hotel?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at noon. Late check-out can be arranged on request, subject to availability. The hotel is about 90 minutes by car from Cancún airport via Highway 307. The concierge can book private transfers, and the hotel recommends pre-arranging an airport pick-up if you won't rent a car.
